founded in 2017, one one & one is a creative team that draws talent from the entertainment industry and charitable organizations. the team has organized exhibitions such as "hi! we are back!" the ocean debris photography project and future kitchen, with the goal of raising awareness in regard to mankind’s relationship with the environment. these exhibitions and artworks not only focused on the results of marine pollution caused by human activities, but also sought to provide a discourse on overproduction and consumer alienation, with distinctive perspective and dark humor.

through numerous coastal cleanup events, the team has been able to gather and collect pieces of ocean debris that have been returned to humans by the forces of nature. upon inspection, these pieces of ocean debris demonstrate how maritime ecosystems have had to bear and strive against human pollution. this left the team with a lasting impression, and was what they used as a jumping off point for creating these exhibitions. hopefully with the added awareness towards these issues that one one & one has garnered, more and more individuals will want to take part in environmental conservation.
