originally using the alias deserts chang to release her music, anpu has been met with both critical and commercial success. prior to the expiration of her contract with a major label, she received a golden melody award for her track “rose - colored” as best lyricist.

anpu has also gone on to become one of the most widely discussed artists for her poetic and insightful work. after completing four studio albums and serving as the music and visual director and executive producer for her concerts to ebb and refine, anpu has not only gained a reputation for setting the bar in terms of stage presence and aesthetic value, but also as one of her generation’s most recognizable mandarin singer/songwriters.
